This podcast was all about connecting schools from all over the world! They discussed all of the possibilities that a program called Skype can bring to your classroom. The possibilities of advancement in many literacy skills such as; basic, media, intercultural, ethnical, and network in addition to skills such as; communication, collaboration, and creating connections.
The podcast as well gives you step by step instruction on how to set up a Skype account, how to find other students to connect with, as well as how to help your students evaluate and reflect on their experiences. The podcast then ends with showing you videos of classes skyping all over the world. It was a very interesting and exciting podcast to watch. It really helped me get excited about bringing technology into my classroom and I hope you feel the same!
